Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun offers paragliding training, advanced training courses, and tandem flights. Our offers are only available to a person (customer) who has read, understood, and accepted every point of these terms and conditions. A contract between the customer and the Fly& Fun flight school is concluded when the Fly & Fun paragliding school receives the booking. These general terms and conditions form an integral part of this contract. The participant assures with his registration that he is physically and mentally healthy and that no illness-related reasons exclude suitability for participation. The participant is responsible for good footwear and suitable clothing. He undertakes to strictly follow the instructions of the flight instructors and course leaders. No one is forced or obliged to take off. If a participant feels unsafe or unwell, they should report this to the launch manager or flight instructor. A training day may be postponed or canceled for safety reasons. Young people under the age of 18 require the signature of a legal representative.
Participants are aware that they are taking certain risks when practicing the sport of paragliding. Participation in paragliding training, further training, tandem, and test flights is always at the participant's own risk and responsibility. Liability of the paragliding Greece- Fly & Fun paragliding school, its instructors, tandem pilots, and other auxiliary persons for damage to participants is expressly excluded. Paragliding Greece – Fly & Fun accepts no liability for damage to or theft of personal equipment. Paragliding Greece – Fly & Fun accepts no liability for damage caused by the actions of third parties, other participants, natural events, etc., or resulting from delays in the flight program.
Paragliding Greece – Fly & Fun is insured for its activities as part of its duty of care. The flying equipment of Paragliding Greece – Fly & Fun is also insured on a lump-sum basis for aviation law causal liability. However, if course participants use their flying equipment, their valid flight liability insurance is mandatory (private liability insurance is insufficient!). Damage to training and test equipment caused by the customer’s fault shall be borne in full by the customer. Sufficient accident insurance is always the responsibility of the participant.
Gift Vouchers for all our services must be paid for before delivery. They expire 12 months after the date of issue. Redemption is excluded. Redemption after expiry is only possible by arrangement. A voucher is a security; there is no replacement or equivalent value in the event of loss. In the case of service vouchers, Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun reserves the right to demand an additional payment if the price of the service has increased in the meantime.

General information:
The passenger expressly declares that he is physically and mentally healthy, does not weigh more than 100kg, has no heart or circulatory disorders, balance problems, neurological disorders, or other illnesses, including chronic diseases, and feels able to cope with the strain of the flight. In any case, the activity in these cases takes place at the passenger’s risk. It is the passenger’s responsibility to cancel the flight if:
– no theoretical briefing has taken place.
– he has not understood all or part of the briefing.
– he is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs his judgment and ability to act.
The passenger accepts the terms and conditions of Paragliding Greece—Fly & Fun by sending the booking, paying
the invoice amount, verbally placing an action order, and/or signing/redeeming gift vouchers. The flight fee does not
include the costs for photo and video service, transport to take-off, and the like.
The passenger must wear suitable clothing (weatherproof, windproof), sturdy shoes (reaching above the ankles), and tear-resistant gloves. The tandem pilot provides head protection (helmet) and flight equipment. For passengers under the age of 18, the signatures of a parent or guardian are required.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to follow the pilot’s instructions unconditionally and without delay. This is for their safety. In particular, failure to follow the instructions and directions during take-off, flight, and landing may injure the passenger and the pilot. If the pilot’s instructions are not followed, the pilot may exclude the passenger from the flight. In the event of non-compliance, the claim for reimbursement will be rejected. The passenger is liable for personal injury resulting from failure to follow the pilot’s instructions. The passenger is liable for willful or grossly negligent damage to equipment, pilots, or third parties caused by the passenger.
The customer acknowledges that paragliding involves inherent risks. Participation in tandem flights is at your own risk. Any liability on the part of Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun, its tandem pilot (owner Kostoulas Stavros) or other auxiliary persons for damages to participants is expressly excluded. Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun accepts no liability for damage and/or theft of personal items (valuables) during the flight. Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun is not liable for damages caused by the actions of third parties, other participants, natural disasters, etc., or for delays in the flight program.
The prices and services of the offers are based on the current offers of Paragliding Greece—Fly & Fun on the website https://paragliding.gr. Prices are per person in euros. Prices are subject to change without notice.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to pay by verbal confirmation or booking via the website. The fee is payable immediately afterward when booking a passenger flight (by order or verbally). The cost can be paid in cash on-site for bookings made at short notice.
The booking will be confirmed in writing, by phone, or by email by Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun. A gift voucher will be sent to the customer immediately if it has been booked. It is possible to transfer the chargeable services to another beneficiary.
Paragliding flights depend on the weather. For this reason, Paragliding Greece—Fly & Fun will contact the passenger between 18:00 and 20:00 the evening before the flight. If the weather is unsuitable for flying, the flight will be postponed.
Εxpressly points out that even with fixed dates, there is no entitlement to a flight if the weather conditions do not permit this. The flight area is determined, and it is Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun or the tandem pilot, depending on the weather conditions. The pilot decides the details of the flight. The duration of the passenger flight is dependent on the weather conditions.
Flight bookings and reservations are binding and can only be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled date. Suppose the passenger does not appear or arrives late on the agreed date without notifying the pilot (or Paragliding Greece—Fly & Fun ) or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In that case, the passenger is not entitled to a refund, compensation, or reimbursement of any expenses. No money will be refunded if the passenger cancels the activity or leaves early.
The pilot is always responsible for the flight's realization. The pilot is entitled to cancel the flight, even at short notice, if he considers the passenger unsuitable due to his behavior, omissions, or other actions that endanger or make it impossible to fulfill the contract.
If an event or parts thereof cannot be carried out due to force majeure, in particular, due to unsafe weather and natural conditions and associated safety concerns on the part of Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun its pilot(s), as well as due to official measures, strike, or other reasons, Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun is entitled to cancel or interrupt the event, even at short notice.
Payments made will be refunded. It should be noted that it is in everyone’s interest to ensure a risk-free procedure. The pilot's decisions are final. We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the event, particularly changes to the venue, at short notice. Paragliding Greece—Fly & Fun will endeavor to find an equivalent replacement.
Paragliding has the risk of an accident cannot be excluded entirely. It is the customer's responsibility to take out accident insurance. The customers are responsible for ensuring adequate health and accident insurance coverage, including for paragliding activities.
Customers do so at their own risk. Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun, represented by the owner and sole tandem pilot, Stavros Kostoulas, is only liable for damage caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun. To the extent permitted by law, passengers waive all claims against Paragliding that go beyond the existing insurance benefits.
If Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun transfers the execution to a partner company or a tandem pilot (freelancer), Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun is not liable for their actions and omissions. In particular, Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun shall not be liable for damages attributable to actions or omissions of the partner company or freelancer pilot unrelated to the contractually agreed service.
Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun is not liable for damage caused by the actions of third parties, other participants, force majeure, natural events, official orders, etc., or due to late return home. If a participant does not follow the organizer or pilot's instructions, any liability on the part of Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun shall lapse.
Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun liability insurance for paragliding tandem flights covers damages up to EURO 1.500.000,00 million.
Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun undertakes to electronically process and store customers' data within the contractual relationship framework without unauthorized disclosure to third parties. The customer should be aware that, according to the current state of technology, complete data security cannot be guaranteed during transmission via the Internet. At the customer's written request, their personal data will be destroyed after the end of the service.
Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun may use photo, audio, and video material created during the event for its own purposes at any time (e.g., marketing, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, newsletters, teaching materials, etc.). Customers agree to use these images, videos, etc., commercially to Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun and do not claim compensation for this under any circumstances. Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun reserves all rights to the website https://paragliding.gr. It is prohibited to download, electronically store, process, and sell the content or any part of the website without the provider's written consent. Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided on the https://paragliding.gr website or for typographical errors.
The contractual relationship is exclusively subject to Greek law. The parties agree upon the registered office of Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun as the exclusive place of jurisdiction in Ioannina town in Greece. Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun reserves the right to assert claims at the customer's residence. Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid or incomplete, the invalid or incomplete provision shall be replaced by a legally valid provision that comes as close as possible to the invalid or incomplete provision. This shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Participants from the USA or Canada acknowledge that there is no agreement on jurisdiction for the USA or Canada and that Paragliding Greece - Fly & Fun does not accept legal proceedings in these countries.
